About Us
Formerly recognized as The Little Chief Learning Station, our Preschool Programs have been a staple in the community for more than 30 years. As the owners of Little Chief embark on their well-deserved retirement journey, we are delighted to continue their legacy within the family. Our commitment to maintaining the same dedicated teachers, traditions and values remains unwavering.
Our curriculum is designed to foster a stimulating and nurturing environment, promoting a “Learn through Play” approach. At Little Clover Learning Center, we believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged and having fun. We use HighScope PreSchool Curriculums: Letter Links, Growing Readers, Numbers Plus and other aspects of High Scope such as daily routine and key experiences. Our Pre-K and 3-year-old classes also work with Handwriting without Tears Curriculum.
Through imaginative activities, and hands on experiences, your child will not only develop essential academic skills but also cultivate creativity, problem-solving abilities, and social competence. Play is the language of children, and we aim to harness its power to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. Physical activities, such as outdoor play and age-appropriate exercises, are integrated into the daily schedule to enhance motor skills.
Our teachers are qualified early childhood educators with relevant certifications and a passion for child development. Our organization provides CPR and first aid training for all staff members, as well as early childhood education/ development, guidance/behavior and health and safety.
We understand the importance of effective communication between teachers and parents. Regular updates on your child's progress, along with opportunities for parent-teacher conferences, will be provided to ensure you are actively involved in your child's educational journey.
We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for your child to thrive. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our curriculum, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to a rewarding and enriching year of growth and learning for your child.
We believe that it is important to foster the love of learning in your little ones, through creative lesson plans and play.
“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.”
